Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. Rehearsals are held on most Thursday evenings, from 6:30-7:45 pm in the Choir Loft. The Choir sings at either 4 pm Saturday or 10:00 am Sunday Masses, as your schedule allows. Contact the choir director by calling 815-932-6716.

Eucharistic Adoration

Thursdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month.

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Patrick Parish.

Stations of the Cross

Held Friday afternoons at 3:00 PM during Lent. 

Ushers

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

Peace & Social Justice Committee

We seek to promote the gospel of peace & social justice through our programs and ministries, locally, nationally and globally.

Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 5 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith.

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Half Paddy Committee

Volunteers who coordinate the Blue mass and Half Paddy Celebration in September.

Buildiung and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.

Lector

Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments.

Sacristan

Help with cleaning the church on Fridays.
